Pokhara is the third largest city in Nepal and the starting point, or base camp, for most of the treks in the Annapurna area. It is considered by many visitors to Nepal to be a much more desirable base than Kathmandu, thanks to its proximity to the Himalayas, treks, and its location around Lake Fewa.

After the departure of the corrupt royal family of Nepal, the country is once again welcoming foreign visitors. Long a favorite for its treks into the HImalayas and Annapurna mountain trips, Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur offer stunning architecture, now listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. To date there is Kathmandu Images, Bhaktapur Images, Patan Images and Pokhara Images. I have added all Nagarkot Images into the Bhaktapur gallery.
